 Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo has a mission, and we need you to help us accomplish it. Quite simply, we need to present the richness of nature to everyone we come in contact with. We need to show how fragile our environment is and how connected we are to each and every living thing. Most importantly, we need to inspire positive action. We need to get everyone involved in making a difference for nature. And you can get involved by becoming part of Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo family!
Whether you want to become a Zoo member and enjoy the Zoo with your family throughout the year, or become a Zoo volunteer and inspire our visitors, or perhaps you'd like to contribute to one of our many sponsorship and conservation projects; however you'd like to become involved, we welcome you!

Membership Levels and Benefits - View the different levels of membership.
As a member, you will receive:
- Free unlimited admission to Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo during regular hours.
- Free or discounted admission to dozens of other zoos and aquariums.
- Discounts at the Zoo Gift Shops and special Zoo programs.
- ZooTimes members newsletter.
- Pride in helping Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo with its mission of conservation, education research and quality recreation.
Membership Categories
- Individual level is good for one person.
- Family level is good for two adults at the same residence and their own children or grandchildren under 18 years old.
- Family Plus 1 level adds one adult (relative or childcare provider) to the Family membership.
- Director's Circle members may bring two guests per visit plus they receive a subscription to Wildlife Conservation Magazine and are invited to one Director's Event per year.
- Benefactor may bring 4 guests per visit, and receives Wildlife Conservation Magazine, a Director's Event invitation and 2 tickets to the Zoo's annual social event.
