Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm.
The New World Tropics Building is open from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm daily.
The Carousel Building is open seasonally from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
General Admission
Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo announces “Everyone is a Kid” pricing from August 16 through August 31, 2010. This special admission promotion allows every adult Zoo visitor (12 and older) to pay the children’s admission price of just $9.00 per person.
Regular Admission:
Adult Admission (ages 12 & older) = $11.00
Child Admission (ages 3 -11) = $9.00
Senior Admission (62 & older) = $9.00
Under 3 years = FREE
Connecticut Zoological Society Members = FREE
The Zoo accepts all major credit cards.
Parking is free.
Stroller rentals: Single stroller rental fee is $5.30 (includes tax); double stroller rental fee is $7.42 (includes tax).
Wheelchair rentals: $6.00 (no tax on wheelchair rentals).

Group rates
Discounted front gate admission rates are available to schools and non-profit organizations with 10 or more paying people who schedule at least three weeks in advance and pay at least two weeks in advance. For more information including chaperone guidelines, lunches & buses, please click on the Teacher & Parent Tab and then click on the Field Trip Idea Tab and select Field Trips (self-guided). When you are ready to make a reservation you can print a form using the link at the end of that information page or you can call the Group Sales office at: 203-394-6572 and you can have a form faxed or mailed to you.
