Zoo Tour: The Carousel

The Zoo’s Carousel and Museum is a Victorian-style building that houses a working carousel plus restored wooden horses from the historic Pleasure Beach Carousel.

These magnificent carved horses represent some of the very best work of noted carousel artists Charles Carmel and Marcus Illions. The Zoo Carousel and Museum is also available to rent for corporate, civic and family events such as birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, meetings, and other celebrations.

Carousel rides are $2.00 each. The Carousel operates from 10:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

School Teachers: Please note that tickets may be purchased in advance when you book your Zoo field trip.
