The Zoo is open daily from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
(Last ticket sold at 3:00 PM) *PLEASE NOTE* ON SATURDAY, JUNE 3 the Zoo will be closing to guests at 12 PM in preparation of our annual Wild Wine, Beer & Food Safari! Zoo Members, Reciprocal Zoo Members, EBT cards and Library Discounted Passes must pay in person at any ticket window. All other Zoo guests must purchase tickets online:

Our Mission
Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is dedicated to acquainting a diverse public to the delicate balance that exists between living things and their environment. Animal exhibits, plantings, graphics, and Zoo programs are to be represented in such a manner as to give the visitor a sense of awareness and concern for the intricate beauty and fragility of our planet.
