Both are critical to a child’s healthy development, especially in the earliest years of childhood,” said Jim Shmerling, DHA, FACHE, President and CEO of Connecticut Children’s. “To help children thrive, Connecticut Children’s Pediatric Care Alliance with Hartford HealthCare ensures every child has access to the state’s leading health experts and specialists. We offer convenient Fairfield County pediatric specialty care locations in Westport, Danbury, and Shelton along with many programs that support child health and well-being.” “Fairy Tails Day has really become a family favorite at the zoo, so we’re thrilled to welcome Connecticut Children’s and Hartford HealthCare’s healthcare heroes and families back for another enchanting event,” said Gregg Dancho, Zoo director. “Their support really goes even further as they also sponsor our Zoomobiles, that travel to bring educational programs about Zoo animals and STREAM activities to schools, camps, and other community spaces.” For more information about “Fairy Tails Day” and other upcoming events click here.
