PLEASE NOTE OUR SCHEDULING UPDATE:
The Education Department is fully booked through the summer for program delivery. The Education Department does not offer off-grounds programming during the months of July and August. We encourage you to visit and enjoy the array of summer activities while exploring the wild world of Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo. Off-grounds programs will resume Tuesdays – Thursdays on September 1st. We look forward to seeing you soon

Wild Assemblies

Provide an outstanding and interactive learning experience for your entire student body or large assembly group. Scout Wild Assembly

Inspire your scouts to learn about nature, animals and stewardship at the Zoo for an up-close animal encounter or bring the Zoo to your next meeting. Invite the Zoo to your next scout gathering. Our “Life in the Wild” Assembly is the perfect complement for your large scout get-together.

Invite a guest lecturer to spice up your event. Our exotic expertise can supplement a variety of curricula. Our staff can create a topic specific lecture with thrilling images straight from the field, museum quality artifacts and potentially a few living, breathing creatures.
