Calling All Zoo Photographers!
​Your photo could be featured in the 2026 Connecticut Beardsley Zoo Calendar!

Thank you to everyone who entered the 2026 Zoo Calendar Contest! The contest is now closed. 

We invite Photography Group members and the General Public to submit their best photo from their visit (please, no human faces - animals and habitats only). Photos selected will be featured in the Zoo’s 2026 Calendar.  We are looking for a total of 14 pictures to be used (Cover, Back Cover and 12 months inside) .

• All photos must be Vertical
• All photos must be full face shots, no distant shots
• No fencing is to be in the picture
• All photos must be 8 ½ x 11
• All Photos must be 300dpi or larger or 3400px x 4400px
• All Photographers may send up to three photos per person
• All photos MUST be taken at the Zoo

​Pictures will be selected by a judging panel . 
Credit will be given photographer either on a separate page and or on the calendar date page that the photo appears.  Water stamps, signatures, and/or any print are not to be put on the actual photo itself.
