Do You Have a Zoo at Your House?

Children and families, we want to hear from YOU! Please send us your letters to our animals and zookeepers, drawings of your favorite species at the Zoo, or photos of how you've made your house into a zoo! Use blocks, costumes, stuffed animals--anything you have! We'll be sharing them on FB, Instagram and the Zoo's website. Submit them via social media, or by emailing [email protected].

A note to the Zoo, from Allie S.
Dear Beardsley Zoo, April 29,2020 I Am a third grader at Farmingville Elementary School in Ridgefield, CT. My name is Allie S. I was one of the students that was supposed to go to the Beardsley Zoo this year. I am very disappointed that my class and I could not come to the zoo. I hope that next year my class and I will be able to come and see all the amazing animals you have there at the zoo. I really look forward to seeing the different animals you have and learning more about them. I have always wanted to see tigers and wolves. It's so cool that you guys take endangered animals in!! I cannot wait to get the chance to see the animals next year! Hope to see you soon, Allie S.
